Karen A. Levchuk Of Counsel

Karen is a member of our Labor and Employment Practice Group. She has seventeen years of practice experience, with a concentration in labor and employment law. Most recently, she served for three years as the Director of Personnel for the State of New Hampshire, where she was responsible for overseeing recruitment, compensation, evaluation and discipline for over 12,000 State employees. While Director, she managed employee investigations, heard employee appeals and provided counseling and training on a wide range of employment issues.

Karen served as a Senior Assistant Attorney General and as a consultant to the Colorado Attorney General’s Office from 1999 to 2003. During that time, she litigated employment discrimination cases and provided public procurement advice and construction litigation services to the Colorado Departments of Corrections, Human Services, Transportation and the Judicial Department.

Prior to this, Karen served as a Bureau Chief in the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, Transportation and Construction Bureau, directing Bureau personnel in areas of litigation, client counseling and legislative functions while specializing in employment and procurement matters. As an Assistant Attorney General for the same office, she litigated employment, personal injury, eminent domain and construction cases and handled appellate matters. Karen has also served as a temporary Judicial Clerk for the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
