Mark is a shareholder and the Chair of the firm's Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Practice Group. He represents employers in all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, incorporating over 25 years of experience in both employment litigation and client counseling.

As a litigator, Mark frequently represents employers in discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, FLSA, whistleblower, wage claim and FMLA matters in federal and state courts and before federal and state administrative agencies. He regularly represents unionized employers in collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance processing, labor arbitration and before the PELRB and NLRB.

In addition, Mark counsels employers in achieving and maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws, including assisting in developing personnel policies and procedures, developing and implementing strategic human resources policies, and providing assistance with reductions in force, OSHA compliance, compensation programs, and employment contracts.

Mark's many years of experience in the field allows him to counsel clients on serious issues in a practical and understandable fashion. Mark devotes substantial time to providing in-house training programs to employers and their employees on a variety of topics, including sexual harassment, employment discrimination, conducting workplace investigations, effective documentation, employee discipline, union avoidance and union relations.
