Two Devine Millimet Attorneys Named "Top Attorneys" by Business NH Magazine

MANCHESTER NH - Devine Millimet, one of New Hampshire’s largest law firms, announced today that Elaine Michaud and Dana Bisbee were named Top Attorneys in the state of New Hampshire by Business NH Magazine. Chosen by fellow attorneys from across the state, Michaud and Bisbee were recognized, along with 15 other attorneys for their “impressive list of accolades and professional achievement.” The magazine also notes that they “share a passion for the law, a zeal for their clients, and a deep-rooted commitment to give back to the communities where they live and serve.”

Elaine Michaud, Esq., is chair of Devine Millimet’s Healthcare Practice Group. Within that role, she represents individual medical professionals and institutions in the defense of medical malpractice claims in both state and federal courts. She also represents medical institutions and rehabilitation and long-term care facilities in the areas of policy development, employment issues, medical staff affairs, credentialing, peer review , quality assurance, and risk management. Attorney Michaud also is chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice.

Dana Bisbee, Esq., is the head of the firm's Environmental Practice Group, and also a member of the Energy and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group. He focuses his practice on environmental and land use law and government relations, providing advice and counseling on state, federal, and local permitting issues, enforcement, site remediation and transactional matters. His practice involves extensive negotiations with state and federal regulators; wastewater, wetlands, and hazardous waste permitting and enforcement matters; and administrative proceedings before state and federal quasi-judicial boards. His environmental land use work includes representation of residential, commercial and resort developers, energy facilities and discrete matters for municipal clients. Prior to joining Devine Millimet, Bisbee served as Assistant Commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES), for seven years. During his last 18 months with the agency he also served as its Acting Commissioner.
